Free Clep Prep

If you are looking to save time and money by taking a clep test then you have come to the right site for preparation and testing tips.

Let me be honest, I’ve taken a number of clep tests, in fact, enough to shave an entire year off of my college undergraduate experience, however, if you are looking for free clep test preparation tips then I can tell you exactly the best place to go and how to prepare for taking a clep test for free.

There are a number of websites that try and promote clep test preparation and most of them you will find want to sell you something or charge some type of a test preparation fee or other type of service. I can tell you from personal experience that those websites are not worthwhile. Sure you can get plenty of great tips and general ideas about the clip test but once you know that you will need will want to start taking a quick test there’s no point in reading about general information you need to know specifically the best way to study and prepare so you can pass the official test.

Here is what I have done in order to pass every single clep test that I took you how you can easily do the same. Keep in mind there are a number of clep test that I took that I had no previous knowledge or experience with but by following this example of a study method and applying it to the test that you either have knowledge and experience with or tests that are known to be easier comparative to the other 34 available subjects you should be able to test out of a number of classes.

The best way to prepare yourself for passing the clep test is a purchase the official clep test study guide, traditionally in a yellow cover. You can get these at most bookstores, I found that most book stores don’t carry all 34 subjects so once we knew the test that I needed to take I had to have them special order the book or purchase it online.

Once I have the book I would spend one week reading through it, typically a Monday to a Friday. After I finish reading it I would spend time taking the 1st practice test. Each clip test study guide comes with 3 practice test that are going to be vital for the strategy to be effective.

Based on how I did with the 1st practice test I would have a pretty good indication of how close I was to being prepared to take the official test. It wasn’t that often that I actually passed the 1st test though. After taking the 1st test and checking my answers I would specifically search in the study guide every question that I missed in order to find the right answer, even though the right answer is given to you in the test results. I found by doing this I was able to dramatically increase the retention I had.

I would then take that practice test again and make sure that I knew nearly every question. Then I would apply the same method for test 2 and and I traditionally found that I was able to pass a test 2. Again, I would find each answer that I missed on that test and search for the answers and then retake it.

I would do the same thing for test 3 and found after applying the same strategy to test 3 I was familiar enough with the subject and the material that they expected you to know as well as the type of questions that they ask and the type of answers they’re looking for that by the time I had the real test scheduled, which by the way I would schedule right away so that not much time passed between practicing the test and the real test, that I would pass every real club test that I took.

Apply this testing strategy and you will find that you will be able to save time and money from your college experience.
