College Level Examination Program
Taking a College level examination program or in other words a clep test will save you unnecessary tuition costs, a huge amount of time, not to mention a huge amount of headache having to take a class submit all the assignments and homework and pass the midterm and final exam.
The College Board has developed 34 tests or subjects that students can test out. Bypassing the clep test it shows that you have sufficient knowledge and understanding equal to that which you would have gained if you sat through the entire semester class. There are over 34 subjects that range from 3 credit hours all the way up to 12 credit hours that you can learn simply by taking a 90 min. test.
College-level examination programs are great for those who have previous knowledge or experience in one of the subject areas or have the ability to review what is taught over the semester can pass the test.
The best place to start is to review the clep tests lists and see what subjects you already have knowledge or experience with and start those tests, then start with the tests that are known to be easy.
I was able to do this and pass an entire year’s worth college without pay full tuition or spend time in class. The key is to start with the subjects you have experience with and then move on to study the study guides of the subjects that are easy even though you may not have experience with them.
One of the great things about the college level examination program is that there are thousands of testing centers across the country that can administer a quick test, even if you are not currently enrolled in college you can begin taking and passing these tests and accumulating credit hours that can be transferred to university or college once you know where you will be enrolled. There are over 3000 colleges and universities that except clep credit hours so the chances are any accredited college that you will be attending will accept your testing credit’s.
This will help you save time and money by getting some of the undergraduate general classes, the way so you can move on to specialize classes and graduate as soon as possible.
Another aspect of this program is that the testing results are pass or fail only. This means as long as you pass the test no matter what your percentage gratis you get full credit hours for poorly you do in your transcript or GPA will not be affected by how well as long as you pass.
Taking advantage of this program is the single best thing you can do if you are going to college on the budget or looking to save unnecessary and wasted time in general classes that typically have no value.
